A flower shop with good light

We took over a narrow room that had sold peonies for forty years. The tile stayed, the counter was rebuilt from a single slab, and the window kept its afternoon light.

Roasting our own

A twelve-kilo roaster arrived in the back room. Since then every bag on the shelf has been roasted within walking distance of the cup it ends up in.
